We are on our way to Pigeon Forge, Tennesse.

We are meeting the WHOLE Rennert crew (minus one cousin traveling abroad🥲). It’s been a few years since we’ve had this opportunity.

We haven’t gathered as a family for a road trip since 2019. That was our newest sister-in-law’s first family vacation (and she still agreeed to come again this year).
Since our last trip, we have added two new family members. Our oldest son’s wife, Cora, is experiencing her first #rennertroadtrip, and we will be meeting our new niece, for the very first time (other than facetime), on this trip
Rennert trips almost always include:
Games
Silly debates ex. – “How many syllables in the word “feel”.
Laughter
Ridiculous challenges ex. – “I”ll give you $1 if you eat a spoonful of wasabi.”

Games
Family meals
Music
Walks/hikes
Opportunities to talk about the Bible and the goodness of God
Pranks (usually initiated by middle children)
The obligatory lineup picture (This may just be something tall families do? Not sure.)

I think there will be some major movement this year…
I’m sure that this trip will be no different. We will have plenty of stories to tell and many great memories will be made.
